Peony (Paeonia lactiflora) is medicine for renewal and presence, for coming back to center in the moments where all you can see is lack, loss and suffering. For when it all gets to be too much and you find yourself dissociating, distracting, numbing our, or stuck at the bottom without a way up. Peony is a guide and support in finding your anchors and showing you the way out of the mud. They will metaphorically ask you to slow down, hold your hand, pour you a glass of water, have you take a deep breath, then tenderly pull off your blindfold so that you can see the freedom, ease and abundance right in front of you.
